Architectural Review Committee & ARC Forms

ARC

Haner Park Homeowners’ Association Architectural Review Committee (ARC) Guidelines

When submitting a proposal to the ARC, the following issues should be considered and addressed by the applicant:

  • Does the proposed change/construction affect any neighbors’ views?  In what way?

  • Will the color and exterior material choices conform to the owner’s house and the other homes around it?

  • Does the siting conform with CC&R setbacks?

New construction, additions, and any exterior alteration to the property that requires a county building permit shall be submitted for review by ARC, as well as any installation of either boundary line or screening fences.  Concept plans (and final plans if appropriate) are to be reviewed and a decision of approval or disapproval will be rendered by the ARC.  Plans for new construction of homes or accessory buildings should include a scale plot map of the parcel and all existing and planned structures, trees, and proposed additions or alterations.  Measurements from corners and property lines and as well as distance between structures should be noted.

Suitable structural style and design and material and colors:

  • Siding on sheds and buildings should present a finished look similar to existing structures on the property.

  • Roofing material should be metal or similar to roofing on existing structures.

  • Roofing and re-roofing of outbuildings should be metal roofing in matching colors to the house to which it belongs.

  • Siding of outbuildings should be of a color matching the houses to which it belongs.

  • Style and design of the home should conform to the existing homes and is subject to ARC review and approval.
